Here we GROW again -

Here we GROW again -

As many may have concluded and others of you have guessed, we can finally tell you why we got a van... Three carseats just wouldn't fit in the Pilot.

                              We're having a BABY!!

Baby 3G (as JW likes to refer to the baby) is due April 18, 2013 just in time for JW's last law school exams EVER, of course. :) Only makes sense since Olivia was born during JW's first semester of law school exams and my exams from Grad School and we went to Africa during JW's exams last year. I guess patterns do repeat themselves.

We are so blessed to receive this precious gift from God, and we can't wait to become a family of 5- WOW! We should find out mid-November whether we will have another girl or a boy! :)

Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we enter into this next stage of our lives where JW and I will now be out numbered and we will have three, three years old and younger.

Hi. My name is KC and I drive a minivan.

Hi. My name is KC and I drive a minivan. Whew! There… I said it.

I never imagined those words coming out of my mouth. I'm not hating on minivan moms at all, I've just always driven an SUV and figured I always would. Now that I drive one, I think a van is the icing on the cake for what officially makes me a Mom, besides the two kids (that’s just minor details.)

Getting the van is definitely making me realize a the new phase of life I am entering. I am a mom of two, I enjoy crafts, I like sewing and I have recently started smocking, I sit on committees and help plan things for our church. Seriously? Is this my life?

Where have the years gone? Wasn't I just in college getting swept off my feet by my charming boyfriend, JW? Wasn’t I just sleeping in on Saturdays and going to college football games? Wasn’t I more worried about what oil I was going to put on my skin to get a tan, and now I am making sure I have the strongest SPF on the face of the earth to put on my girls?

My how fast things change over a few years.

I can however say that I have enjoyed and loved every minute of it. Our girls are getting so big so fast and they are growing more and more independent and funnier daily. I just need to continue to remember how precious life is and enjoy my time with everyone before this new phase becomes old and I transition into the next one.

I hope you have a GREAT Monday!

KC

Let's try this again -

With all that we have going on these days you would think that we wouldn't want to add anything else on our plates, but we enjoy having numerous tasks at one time, so we are going to start blogging again. While off Facebook...

Okay I'm jumping back into blogging. Get excited about run on sentences and punctuation mistakes. At least when its my post ;)

So as you may know I gave up Facebook for Lent. And I'm not going to lie, it's kind of tough! I just miss the picture updates and I know college friends have had babies yet I have no idea because I'm off FB! Ha.

So, while off I guess I have resorted to Pinterest projects. So far I have made homemade laundry detergent and fabric softener. I was a skeptic for a while but gave in and I think we are going to like it. It even got The girls messy stains out. Now that is impressive. :) And it is really nice because it is so cheap!! I found this blog and made her fabric softener and her no grate liquid detergent. www.onegoodthingbyjillee.com Next up is her DIY Wrinkle releaser. :)

Anyways on to picture updates. The girls are showing off their new sunglasses and JW and I celebrated our four year wedding anniversary yesterday! Wow how our lives have changed but I wouldn't change one second of it! :)

What an awesome invite -

I am not sure if we are allowed to share some really cool news that we received tonight, but we hope we can soon!

Two weeks ago in our small group at church KC & I were telling everyone how we felt very vacant right now. We were so mission oriented when we were in the process of adopting Zoe, but now that, that is completed we feel like we aren't sharing very much and that we don't really have a fire to do so. Well tonight we received an email from a group that I believe could be an amazing resource and an answer to our prayers!

So, without disclosing anything else, we are just going to ask everyone to pray that we get this amazing opportunity and that everything works out!

Until later -

JW

Bath Time!

This is one of the funniest times at our house everyday. . .
It pretty much consists of KC and I sitting in the floor in the girls bathroom and waiting for them to either
1.) Splash all of the water out of the tub or
2.) For Olivia to realize that it's snack time after bath time.
We then spend a little time admiring ourselves in the mirror,
then it's time to get dressed, lotioned up, and off to bed!

Hello again -

Where do I even begin to try to catch everyone up on where our lives are now...I think I can sum up in one word how things are for KC and me now that we have Zoe home - exhausting!Let’s see if I can do a quick recap of the last three and a half months in a few paragraphs. We got home. Zoe started to grow like a weed. She came home with no teeth and couldn’t pull up on her own, and now is cutting tooth number 9 and any day she will be letting go of the edge of the couch and not just taking three or four steps, but running around like Olivia. It has been a ton of stuff going on. The girls have started going to Mothers Morning Out and church three days a week. We have been traveling all over the state. We had the fall festival at our church. We most recently had Zoe’s first birthday (Nov. 14th). She actually got christened the day before at church and we had her party that afternoon. And we moved to a house with a little more room. With all of that quickly thrown out there, and probably not that well put together, we are letting everyone know that we will no longer be posting on this blog…. because we have a new one. I am going to see if my friend Raleigh Price (@ http://theuncontainabletruth.com/ ) can help me swap all of our old posts onto our new blog, because that is above my level of understanding. So… here is the new one - http://thegodwingang.blogspot.com/We hope that each of you will make your way over there and check out what is going on in our high speed, sometimes crazy life. Thank you for following us on our journey to bring home our Zoe Grace. We hope you will continue to follow us as we see what God has in store for us. - JW, KC, Olivia and Zoe
